Have you ever picked up a book that was so engrossing that you couldn’t bring yourself to put down? I mean, it was lock-yourself-in-your-room-for-days good? I get that way with blogs. The first was a now-defunct blog about two girls obsessed with Japanese nail art. The second is about a vegan baker in Seoul, Korea called Alien’s Day Out; which brings me to the third i.e. my current obsession: Cafe Fernando.
His writing and passion for food excites me in the same way finding out a restaurant serves breakfast all day does—I love breakfast, by the way. Not to mention, he’s astonishingly talented with his hands. He was commandeered by Dolce and Gabbana to create a chocolate laced brownie.
I mean, look at this! After reading just a few posts, with newfound inspiration and need for an outlet, I pried my eyes away to type away on Mulberry St.
With fingers crossed, I hope my inspiration doesn’t get clouded with the noisy clatter of self-doubt. Nolza!
